Crisfield is the southern-most town in the state of Maryland, located in Somerset County on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. For over 3 centuries the area has been famous for its seafood and has been called the "The Crab Capital of the World."
In addition to the wonderful restaurants, while in Crisfield enjoy a swim, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and boating. Or perhaps, hop a boat to nearby Tangier or Cedar Island to take in some bird watching. Additionally, Jane's Island State park located in Crisfield has been described as the Eastern Shore's most complete recreation destination.
